Product Description:
GE Fanuc Discrete input module for 90 – 30 series PLC offers 16 input points with one common power input terminal. It requires an AC power source for convenient operation. Module has LED indicators at the top to offer ON/OFF status of each point. Module has circuit wiring information on the surface towards the inside and circuit identification information on the outside surface. Module has a voltage rating of 120 VAC at 50/60 Hz, 0 – 132 VAC at 50/60 Hz, input current rating of 12 milli-Amps and a power rating of 90 milli-Amps at 5 VDC. It has a maximum ON response time of 30 milli-seconds and maximum OFF response time of 45 milli-seconds. Module is compatible with input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches and electronic proximity switches. Input/output module provides the interface between the PLC and external input devices such as proximity sensors, push buttons, switches and BCD thumbwheels. It supports different voltage ranges, types, current capacity, isolation and response time to meet your application.

Output modules provide the interface between the PLC and external output devices such as contactors, interposing relays, BCD displays and indicator lamps. This module requires an AC power source, it cannot be used with a DC power source.

- Direct Method: This method uses cables that have a mating female connector on the module end and stripped and tinned wires on the other end. You can purchase a pair of pre-wired cables, catalog numbers IC693CBL327 and IC693CBL328 or, if required for your application, build your own cables. Refer to Building Cables for 24-Pin Connectors in the IC693CBL327/328 data sheet in Appendix C of this manual for more information.
- Using a TBQC: The Terminal Block Quick Connect method uses a pair of cables with connectors on each end. These connect from the module connectors to connectors on DIN?rail mounted terminal blocks.The TBQC components are discussed in Appendix D.
