The 1771-HS3CR PLC5 IMC-123 3-Axis Servo Controller by AB is a 3-axis servo controller that can be installed in any 1771 I/O chassis. It comes in a package with a memory module, a power module, an encoder module, a resolver, and an optional hand-held pendant. The 1771-HS3CR is a unique servo controller with 3-axis capability, which uses the 120V AC, the 1A 1771-PS7 power supply module connected through the 1771-CAS, 9-pin connecting cable, and the 96KB 1771-HM3A battery-backed memory cartridges that are used for storing the controller’s AMP parameters and MML downloaded programs. The controller receives encoder feedback signals, resolver feedback signals, E-stop status and E-stop starting signals via an Axis E-stop, 50-pin I/O connector, which can also be used for providing fast I/O power.
The 1771-HS3CR uses the RS-232 connector port on the front-side for uploading and downloading of all MML programs or the AMP parameters to the battery-backed memory module, and it can also be used for connection to the T45 and T50 ODS via the hand-held pendant for debugging the MML programs and hardware connected to it. The controller provides encoder feedback via its isolated, 10V DC output and a 250 KHz differential, single-ended input. The 1771-HS3CR has an operating temperature range of around 0-60oC at a relative humidity range of 5-95% without condensation. The controller weighs approximately 1.36Kg, with net dimensions of 11in x 7in x 3in, and it is c-UL, C-TICK, and CE-certified.
