The GE IC693CMM321 Ethernet Interface Module connects any GE Series 90-30 PLC to an Ethernet LAN. The Ethernet interface on the IC693 CMM321 allows for either client or server communication capabilities.
Older CMM321 modules (version -EF and earlier) communicate via an external transceiver port on the bottom of the module and an AAUI cable. The newer IC693CMM321 modules (version -EG and newer) have an RJ-11 Port right on the front of the module. We can support either version of the module – please specify which type you prefer at the time of your order.

The Ethernet Interface does not support the Series 90-30/20/Micro Hand-Held Programmer. Eitherone or two Ethernet Interface modules can be installed in any Series 90-30 baseplate.
The Ethernet Interface connects to an Ethernet network through an external SQE enabled
transceiver (GE Fanuc catalog no. IC649AEA102 or IC649AEA103 or equivalent. See Appendix
J). The following figure shows the layout of the Ethernet Interface.
