The cRIO-9022 (Part number: 780718-01) is a CompactRIO Controller designed by National Instruments. This model is a member of the CompactRIO PAC (programmable automation controller) platform. It is structured with an industrial 533 MHz Free-scale MPC8347 processor and is workable for deterministic and consistent real-time applications. The cRIO 9022 comes with 256 MB of DDR2 RAM and is embedded with 2 GB nonvolatile storage.
This can be used for storing programs and logging data. The Controller comes with a fault-tolerant file system. This system provides enhanced reliability for the data-classification applications. The NI cRIO-9022 meets the EMC standards for electrical equipment. These standards are essential for monitoring, control, and lab use. These standards provide sensible protection from risky intrusions.
TheCRIO-9022needs a 35 VDC external power supply to filter and control the provided power. It also provides power for the C Series modules. The CRIO-9022 has a main power input, V1, and a subordinate power input, V2. It pulls the power from the supply with the higher voltage. The isstructured with one layer of reverse-voltage protection. This layer ensures the power supply is powered off and helps install the ferrite on the positive and negative leads of the supply.
The CRIO-9022 system clock synchronizes with the internal high-precision real-time clock during startup. This change provides time-stamp data . The CRIO-9022 internal RTC is used to correct the drift of the system clock. TheCRIO-9022 comes with a USB port to support external storage devices. It also includes an RS-232 serial port. This port helps connect the input or display devices. It is also embedded with two Ethernet ports.
