Product Description
1. Problems in the operation of ac contactor
Ac contactor is a kind of widely used control electric appliance, such as the operation of electrical equipment is mainly used to control motor and stop, ordinary ac contactor in closing, the ac contactor coil still connected in an alternating current, power consumption is large, so the coil heat, noise is common, not only a waste of electricity and the insulation of wire coil easily aging shortening the service life of ac contactor.
No external power supply is required for this module. The excitation current for the RTDs is provided by the module, which automatically matches the excitation current to each configured RTD type. The module accepts inputs from four independent 3-wire and/or 4-wire platinum, nickel, nickel/iron, or copper RTDs. Module features include
Function and effect of an energy-saving module of ac contactor
After the energy-saving module is used on the ordinary ac contactor, the power consumption of ac contactor in the suction state will be greatly reduced, and the coil temperature will also be greatly reduced, which can prevent the insulation layer of the contactor coil from aging due to high temperature, thus extending the service life of the contactor. Under the suction condition of ac contactor, the noise is greatly reduced to improve the environmental conditions of the place where the contactor is used. Normally only in the ordinary ac contactor coil voltage rating of 85% ~ 110% within the scope of work, when on both ends of the coil voltage higher than the 110% of the rated voltage, ac contactor coil may be burned because of fever, after adding the module in the contactor, contactor’s ability to withstand voltage fluctuation, in the case of the operating supply voltage is too high, ac contactor coil will not burn for heat.
After the module is added, the sound of the contactor’s suction is clear and powerful. The current in the suction state is only 10% ~ 40% of that in the absence of the module, and the power saving rate is 90% ~ 60%. And after the contactor and reduce noise, keep the contact for A long time and, the rise of temperature of the contactor coil surface have no obvious, and even A cool feeling, of A contactor CJ20-400 test, without energy-saving module (coil voltage 220 v) contactor after and reach A steady-state voltage is 220 v, current 0.615 A, 52.5 dB noise, the temperature is 105.2 ℃, after installing modules, reaches A steady-state voltage is 220 v, current 0.184 A, 36.6 dB noise, the temperature of 26.8 ℃, the apparent power of the power saving rate is 70%. It can be seen from the above tests that the current, noise and temperature rise of the contactor drop significantly after QCJ ac contactor energy-saving module is installed in the coil loop of the contactor, which proves that the module can reduce coil loop current, noise and temperature rise of the contactor.
LED Indicator
The OK LED indicates module status: ▪ On green indicates normal operation ▪ Flashing green indicates boot mode or update ▪ Flashing amber indicates self-diagnostic error ▪ Off indicates no 3.3V backplane power.
