GE FANUC IC693PWR321 power module IC693PWR321 IC693PWR331B IC693ALG390D IC693CMM302M
Product Description
The GE Fanuc IC693PWR321 is a standard power supply. This unit is a 30 watt supply that can use direct or alternating current. It operates on an input voltage of either 120/240 VAC or 125 VDC. Aside from a +5VDC output, this power supply can provide two +24 VDC outputs. One is a relay power output, which is used to power circuits on Series 90-30 Output Relay modules. The other is an isolated output, which is used internally by some modules. It can also provide external power for 24 VDC Input modules.
Just like I/O modules, this power supply is easily compatible with the Series 90-30 system and works with any CPU model. There is a limiting feature on the power supply that protects the hardware by shutting the power off if there is a direct short. The IC693PWR321 has six terminals for user connections. Like all Series 90-30 power supplies, this model is connected to the CPU performance. This enables simplex, fail-safe, and fault tolerance capabilities. The power supply also has advanced diagnostics as well as built-in smart switch fusing. This makes for high-performance and increased safety when using the unit.
Nominal Rated Voltage: | 120/240 VAC or 125 VDC |
Input Voltage Range: | 85 to 264 VAC or 100 to 300 VDC |
Input Power: | 90 VA with VAC or 50 W with VDC |
Load Capacity: | 30 Watts |
Location on Baseplates: | Leftmost Slot |
Communication: | RS 485 Serial Port |
Selectable resistance measurements in tenths of ohms, tenths of degrees Fahrenheit, or tenths of degrees Celsius
Individual channel configuration
Selectable resistance ranges: 0 – 500 ohms and 0 – 3000 ohms
Selectable RTD input as resistance or temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
Reports high/low, under-range/over-range, open wire and input short alarms.
Two data acquisition rates based on 50 Hz and 60 Hz line frequencies
Configurable channel activation The module automatically performs A/D calibration at powerup. Automatic calibration is then repeated periodically to compensate for changes in the ambient temperature.
LED Indicator
The OK LED indicates module status: On green indicates normal operation
Flashing green indicates boot mode or update
Flashing amber indicates self-diagnostic error
Off indicates no 3.3V backplane power.
Using the Module in Hazardous Locations
WARNING – EXPLOSION HAZARD – SUBSTITUTION OF COMPONENTS MAY IMPAIR SUITABILITY FOR CLASS I, DIVISION 2;
WARNING – EXPLOSION HAZARD – WHEN IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS, TURN OFF POWER BEFORE REPLACING OR WIRING MODULES.
WARNING – EXPLOSION HAZARD – DO NOT DISCONNECT EQUIPMENT UNLESS POWER HAS BEEN SWITCHED OFF OR THE AREA IS KNOWN TO BE NONHAZARDOUS.
Equipment labeled with reference to Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C and D, Hazardous Locations is suitable for use in Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D or non-hazardous locations only.
Equipment labeled with reference to Class I, Zone 2, Groups A, B, C and D, hazardous locations is suitable for use in Class I, Zone 2, Groups A, B, C, D or non-hazardous locations only.
Be sure to read the installation instructions provided with the module and its terminal assembly. These instructions specify the use of copper conductors and wire gauge and type requirements.
