The QEIO solution is built around existing Modicon™ Quantum™ technology, and utilizes SE I/O modules. This solution’s flexibility allows I/O architectures to be designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of control applications. The choice of an I/O bus architecture based on Ethernet functionality eliminates the limitations of traditional, proprietary network topologies, while providing a high level of performance

Up to 31 drops of QEIO. Each drop can be 1 or 2 racks, each rack 4 to16 slots. Future evolution of QEIO will allow Modicon M340 to be used as I/O drops to further expand the flexibility.
