Overview
During commissioning and operation, the axial plunger unit must be filled with hydraulic oil and discharge air. After a relatively long period of deactivation, the above precautions must also be observed, as the axial plunger unit may drain the hydraulic oil back into the tank through the hydraulic pipeline.
Shell oil relief inside the shell must be discharged to the tank through the highest available drain (L,L1) port.
If several plunger units share a drain line, ensure that the respective shell pressure is not exceeded. The size of the shared drain line must be set to ensure that the maximum allowable shell pressure of all connecting units is not exceeded in any use, especially during cold start. If this can not be guaranteed, separate tank lines must be laid as required.
In order to achieve a good noise value, all connecting lines should be decoupled with elastic elements and avoid installation above the tank.
Under all operating conditions, the drain line must enter the tank below the lowest oil level.
Safety Warraning:
During and shortly after operation, the axial plunger unit is at risk of burns. Appropriate safety measures should be taken (e.g. wearing protective clothing).

Flushing valve and filling valve:
The flushing valve and the oil filling valve discharge the heat in the closed loop and ensure that the oil filling pressure is minimum.
The hydraulic oil on the corresponding low pressure side flows into the motor housing. Then flow into the tank with the leaked oil. The discharged hydraulic oil must be replaced by the coolant pressure oil of the filling pump.
The valve is integrated in the oil port plate.
