About 1771-CP1
The AB 1771-CP1 PLC-5 Power Cable Assembly is an I/O Chassis Cable assembly for the AB PLC-5 1771-P7 Power Supply that is used for connecting the 1771 Power supply module to the AB 1771 A1B, A2B, A3B, or A4B I/O chassis. The 1771-CP1 Power Cable has a flexible design which allows for considerable bending without stress or breaking, and it has two connector ends with connector screws for tightening. It has a maximum cable length of 0.32 meters (1.04 feet) connecting a Panel-Mounted I/O Chassis to a Chassis-Mounted 1771-P7 Power Supply, and it has 2 D-Shell Connecting ends with connecting screws.
When installing a panel-mounted I/O chassis together with the power supply, one end of the 1771-CP1 cable is connected to the D-shell connector of the I/O chassis and the connecting screws are tightened, and the other end of the cable is connected to the D-shell connector on the bottom of the power supply, and the connecting screws tightened. Also when mounting the power supply separately from the I/O chassis, the power supply is mounted within the limit of the 1771-CP1’s cable length, and one end of the cable connected to the D-Shell connector of the power supply with a screw torque of 12 pounds on an inch, and the other is connected to the D-shell connector on the I/O chassis with the same screw torque. It has an operating temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit at 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, with a storage limit of -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is CE certified.
